Find Yourself a ‘Listening Dummy’

Orangeville, ON (My Corner Office) Some people bounce ideas off their pet dog or cat to come up with creative ideas. Many people use real friends who may not know much about their topic, but can be relied upon to answer with a polite “Hmm” or “Why is that?” Then there are those who invent a Devil’s Advocate to represent the opposing view and thereby make the presentation more compelling to the other person.

Do you need someone to listen to you with a supportive ear? Can you think of someone with a sharper intellect than you? Can you imagine a bar stool buddy who likes to share stories with you? Is there someone who reminds you to be clear all the time? There is nothing better than a constructive discussion to make you feel energized and worthy of being heard.
